The NTG-2 is the baby brother to the Rode NTG-3. This microphone features all the things we love about the NTG-3, with a slightly narrower pattern. This microphone also features phantom power, something that the NTG-3 does not, this is going to be important for smaller budgets that are relying on field recorders that do not supply their own power.
