Chicago International Film Festival, North America's longest-running competitive film festival, is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year! Festival screenings will be held in venues across Chicago, with shorts streaming online. Join them as they celebrate six decades of cinematic excellence!

Chicago International Film Fest will be running from October 16th-27th across Chicago.

Black Alphabet presents their annual film festival: Scene and Heard – Celebrating Power and Presence. This year, they’re spotlighting the strength and visibility of Black LGBTQ+ voices through a dynamic selection of films that explore identity, resilience, and empowerment.

Check out Black Alphabet Film Festival from October 11th-13th. Tickets are pay-what-you-can, but any donations will go directly towards funding future Black Alphabet programming.



ChangeFest is back for its 13th annual film festival, highlighting filmmakers and stories that inspire action, address discourse, and educate audiences on important global issues. Their goal is to spur change by bridging the gap between the heart and mind through thought-provoking and emotional storytelling. You won’t want to miss this event filled with receptions, red carpets, panel discussions, special guest John Clarence Stewert, and more!

ChangeFest will be held on Saturday, October 26th at Harper Theater.
