• Soft, Even Light Bounce (White Side): The primary use of the white side is to create a large, soft, and even bounce light, which is ideal for fill light or creating a soft, natural-looking key source. The "Ultra Bounce" material is specially designed to eliminate hotspots and maintain a soft, diffused quality without producing the harshness of a shiny reflector.
• Negative Fill (Black Side): The reverse side is a deep, matte black material that absorbs light, allowing it to be used as a "negative fill" (or "book light" in some configurations). This increases contrast by subtracting ambient light from the shadowed side of a subject.
• Controllable Size ("Floppy" Mechanism): As a "floppy," it features an extra panel of fabric attached to the frame by velcro, which can be folded down. This allows the flag to instantly double in size (e.g., from 4x4 to 4x8), providing a larger surface for either bouncing or cutting light, while being compact for transport.
• Light Blocking/Cutting: The black side functions as a standard flag (or "cutter") to block stray light or "spill" from affecting a scene, such as keeping light off the camera lens to prevent flares.
