A Break-A-Way Frame is used to hold light modification fabrics (rags) like silks, scrims, or solids. These square frames are also sometimes called butterflies or overheads. Combined with a rag, they are essential for diffusing, reflecting, or blocking light on set. The break away design of the frame allows for disassembly into shorter lengths for easy transport and storage.
