A Shotbag is a weighted bag, filled with lead or steel pellets, used to secure equipment and prevent it from tipping over. They are used for safety on set, acting as ballast for stands holding lights, cameras, and other equipment. They are also used to stabilize equipment in windy conditions or when weight is unevenly distributed. BOA Shotbags offer a unique design with a rubber gripper pad that allows it to be wrap securely around various equipment, including those with angled or curved surfaces.
