Black Glimmerglass Filters soften the contrast of an image, while still keeping the overall sharpness. They help to mute bright colors, giving an image an ethereal appearance by creating a soft halo around light sources. Black Glimmerglass Filters have a more mellow halation that spreads out a little farther than classic Glimmerglass Filters.
